Cheaper robot vacuums can also lack the required suction power to properly clean your carpets and rugs. Most robot vacuums are capable of returning themselves to their dock after use for self-charging, so you don’t need to worry about them running out of power. And unless your door thresholds are particularly high, getting from room to room shouldn’t be a major issue. Some models will even recognise certain obstacles (such as shoes) and avoid them.
