This will confirm that your device has been successfully connected to the PC. But if it doesn’t turn blue then it’s more likely to be a problem with the device drivers. Immediately check whether you’ve properly installed the device-specific drivers on your PC or not. You can install them via Samsung Kies or manually install them from the links given above (refer Pre-Requisites section).
Step 6: Next tick the Auto Reboot option and F.Reset option located on the Odin window. Do not tick or un-tick any other option. Remember that ticking the Re-partition option may increase the risk of bricking your device. So do not ignore these crucial precautions before going ahead.

Step 8: After doing everything as mentioned, initiate the process by pressing on the Start button located on the Odin window. You’ll notice that the phone automatically reboots itself while going through the process. Do not remove the USB cable until the process completes, as this may interrupt it.
Step 9: Be patient until the process completes fully. It will complete in a few minutes. This will confirm that you have properly flashed the Official Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread DDMB1 firmware on your Galaxy Pocket Duos/Y Duos Lite. Now you can disconnect your phone by safely removing the USB cable. Note: If the process fails or if Odin gets stuck or in case your device gets boot loops, then close the Odin window, remove battery from your Galaxy Pocket Duos/Y Duos Lite and re-insert it. Again go into downloading mode and follow the same procedure as given above. Step 10: After completing the process, again power off your phone to boot it into stock recovery mode. Step 11: In the android stock recovery, navigate to the ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ option and ‘Wipe Cache partition’ option & select them to clear all the data and caches from your phone memory. Step 12: Return to the main menu of recovery and restart the phone by selecting the ‘reboot system now’ option.
