How to set up multiple Instagram accounts
If you currently only have one account, then it only takes a couple of minutes to add another. Simply open the Instagram app, tap on the head and shoulders icon in the bottom right corner to go to your profile, then tap the three lines icon and select Settings. At the bottom of the next page you’ll see the option to Add account.
Tap this and you’ll be asked to enter your username and password. As you don’t have the new account yet, tap on the Sign Up option at the bottom of the page. Select Sign up with Phone or Email, then choose the Email tab and enter an address not already connected with your Instagram account. Next, add your new account name, create a password, choose a username, and you should be good to go.
How to switch between Instagram accounts
Once you’ve set up your extra accounts, switching between them is a doddle. First, go to your profile page then tap on the username at the top of the page. A drop-down menu will appear, in which you should see the names of all your current accounts. Now, just tap the one you want to use and you’ll be logged in instantly, so you can post whichever images you think suits that particular instance of yourself. Just try to remember the one you’re in, so that those cosplay pictures don’t end up on the Parish Church Committee profile you run.
