Update 13 March 2017: Following multiple reports from backers that they are still waiting for their consoles (expected to ship in October 2016) and have received little communication from the company behind it, Retro Computers, Indiegogo has stopped all further pledges to the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega+ campaign. It has also emerged that Retro Computers last year threatened the BBC with legal action in an effort to stop it reporting on this story, with its lawyers suggesting the BBC was “supporting and participating in a malicious campaign intended to denigrate our clients’ reputation”....

Sky’s sale also includes offers on Sky Cinema, now reduced to £11 per month (from £19), and £7 off Sky TV and Sky Sports, now £43 per month. Sky had previously shifted the base price of the Netflix bundle to £36 per month, which means you save a total of £11. The offer bundles the Sky Signature TV package, currently reduced to £21 per month (usually £30), with Netflix as an Ultimate TV Add On for £4 (usually £6), totaling to £25 per month over an 18-month term....

Sony has confirmed that Android Wear 2.0 will not roll out to the Sony SmartWatch 3, which is not a huge surprise given that it supports updates for 18 months after a product has launched. It says this is because it thinks the current operating system is better suited to the device. We can’t help wondering whether this means a Smartwatch 4 is on the way, but we’ve now been wondering that for several months....

Alongside the flagship Xperia 1, the mid-range Xperia 10 has a very tall and narrow 21:9 display – turn it on its side and it is a mini cinema in your pocket, the same dimensions that many films are shot in. But when a phone’s performance is so poor and unremarkable it’s difficult to recommend. Well, I say unveil – as is typical for Honor, this is really just the European launch of a pair of laptops that it launched in China a few months ago, but at least now we know that you will actually be able to buy one of these in the UK if you so fancy.
